Safeguarding valuable documents sustainably

Technical reproduction of original documents as analogue and/or digital copies is a logical step in addition to conservation. Doing this additionally protects informational content and makes documents more readily available to users, while reducing contact with valuable originals. GSK offers user-oriented reformatting solutions, which can be easily integrated into the respective workflow of deacidification. After completion of microfilming and/or digitisation the documents and books are conserved using the appropriate process. The advantage: Highly sensitive documents only have to be handed over, transported and unpacked once. This saves time and costs and protects your holdings.
